“The faster they undergo change the bigger the explosion”

Walter continues to get treatment and the side affects are getting really bad. (He shaves his head and pee’s orange.

Walter went back into business with Jessie. It’s Jessie’s job to sell, and Walters job to cook.

Jessie figures out that Walter has cancer

The cops found evidence from a cooking sight that points back to Walter’s school, and they arrest the janitor because he had a previous record, and evidence of drug use. Walter is off the hook for now, but feels bad.

Walter is unhappy about the rate of sales so Jessie finds a distributer. He goes to sell a pound to him (Tuco), but Tuco wants and IOU Jessie’s not down with that so Tuco beats him up and steels the meth

Walter gets pissed and goes to talk with Tuco himself. Blows up the room with an explosion and gets his money. The faster the change the bigger the explosion.

This is my last blog on the show breaking bad the theme for this episode and I think can be applied to the entire season that I have watched is “The faster they undergo change the bigger the explosion” in this show Walter said these words to his chemistry class. This is obviously true with chemistry (the result is shown at the end of the episode) However I think this has a ringing truth in the human life as well. Take Walter for example, he has completely changed from his pre cancerous self to the person he is now.  Now he is a force to be reckoned with.  He just went and got what he wanted from a high up drug distributer. Also with his treatment he when under significant change and it has affected his body a lot.

This theme seems to be true in a lot of cases large or small. But no matter what the change produces a response.  Even if the change is slow the object still changes. Such as rust, I think about when Jesus called the disciples to come and follow him that was a sudden change that drastically changed their life. But for me when I chose to follow the Lord it was a small/slow change.  Little by little my life shifted into now a completely different life than it was before (granted I was 4 years old) either way I think we sometimes disregard peoples slow change we are just looking for the explosion.
